Rules

Rule #1.  This is my website - I can do whatever the hell I want to, and I’m in charge. 

I’m not here to please you and I’m not here to piss you off. I’m here because some random thought or two worked their way forward in my shriveled brain and I’m committing them to writing. Some may be worthy of reading - others likely not.

Rule #2. Comments are encouraged and appreciated.

Be civil at all times - personal attacks, name-calling or character assassination will not be tolerated. Should that occur, you’ll maybe get one warning before you are blocked. I do not want this to be a political debate site - take that to Facebook. Will I post political opinions? Of course I will. If you disagree just politely tell me that I’m full of shit and move on if you are incapable of engaging in a civil manner and with fact-checked arguments. If you have questions refer to Rule #1.

Rule #3 - Your personal information will never be shared with anyone.

Pretty simple - and after all - it’s only an email address - I know people that have dozens of them.

Rule #4 - Many of you will figure out that my memory just ain’t what it used to be.

It’s true - not only is my memory shot but I’m also a firm believer in the theory that all good stories should get better over time, the retelling of them should help refine a better experience - okay, fancy way of saying that there may be a few exaggerations, a few instances of glossing over the truth - and a few outright lies. When necessary, I will change the names of those involved to protect the innocent - or at least who I perceive as the innocent. Feel free to let me know what really happened if I have mis-represented you in any way.

Rule #5 - Language

I will ask you to keep your language to no more “offensive” than mine is - trust me - that’s not a significant restriction nor a standard that is hard to achieve. What will absolutely not be tolerated is any language that is racist or sexist or misogynistic - there’s too much of that in the world already.
